New Forest Golf Club ©2007-

We are one of the oldest clubs in Hampshire, situated in an area of outstanding natural
beauty with a par 69 course totalling 5,536 yards and some of the most scenic holes
in Hampshire. The course is part of the Crown Lands of the New Forest and sits just
north of the village of Lyndhurst. The surrounding forest landscape is well wooded
and tranquil with a gently rising topography of woodland and heath and has all the
natural beauty and special qualities of the wider forest. It is a wonderful place
for quiet enjoyment and peaceful relaxation and is a highly protected site. The unique
playing environment is high on the list of our priorities, we seek to preserve the
special feel of our long established course in a way which is sympathetic to both
the wildlife and the surrounding countryside.
The New Forest National Park Authority seeks to conserve and enhance the natural
beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Park and to promote opportunities for
understanding and enjoyment of its special qualities. The whole area is designated
as a Special Protection Area, Special Area of Conservation and a Site of Special
Scientific Interest. The New Forest Golf Club encourages its members and visitors
to respect and enjoy the stunning beauty of the New Forest.
The New Forest Golf Club is a great place to be, to play golf as it was intended, to participate in social activities and golf competitions, and to meet the staff and members who have an unrivalled reputation for their welcoming hospitality. We have a comfortable forest style clubhouse incorporating restaurant, bar, shop and changing facilities.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
