New Forest Golf Club welcomes the opportunity to be involved with the local community in projects and activities.

The establishment of ‘community partnerships’ with individuals, organisations, businesses, schools, and sports clubs is key to harmonious development and gives all involved the opportunity to foster and further develop relationships for the benefit of all involved.

We have a comfortable Clubhouse with bar and restaurant and a wonderful golf course set in the heart of the forest and we look forward to sharing this with our ‘community partners’. So please take the opportunity to visit us and use our facilities, whether it be for a game of golf or just a cup of coffee, a drink at the bar or lunch.

We encourage individuals, regardless of age or ability, to try golf as a sport and as a ‘healthy option’ pastime. Golf provides a stimulating challenge combined with a healthy walk in very pleasant surroundings. Golf can be played on your own, as a couple or in a team. It may be a casual pastime or a competitive activity. It’s what you want it to be.

If you feel we can be of some benefit to you, then get in touch.

The Lyndhurst Village Christmas Lights

Lyndhurst Village lighting and decorations committee have over the years dedicated themselves to highlighting the village during the Christmas period with colourful lights and decorations, climaxing with a Fun Day for villagers and visitors.

During the summer months the committee take responsibility for the planting of certain flower tubs and any other related tasks concerning temporary decorations.

These activities promote a pleasant atmosphere enhancing the village businesses for visitors, villagers and surrounding residents alike.

Being a voluntary organisation all the monies come from benefactors, donations and fund raising activities.  They very much appreciate all support, as without this they would be unable to present the Christmas Lights and Fun Day.
