The Ladies Section of the Club meet regularly twice a week on Wednesday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Golf is enjoyed by all in a most friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, usually followed by excellent food and drinks from the bar, especially if there is a birthday to celebrate!
Competitions are held within the Club encompassing Medal and Stableford formats. Fun games are held once a month. Friendly mixed games are organised on a regular basis too, to include our Junior, Senior and Mens Club Members. During the summer months friendly matches take place with other clubs, both home and away where many friendships are formed.
Our more competitive players are encouraged to enter the Daily Mail Foursomes, Hull Shield and Knight Cup, also the mixed Bader Cup competitions.
Of course we always try to support a charity and this year it is the Rainbow Trust
Children’s Charity which provides practical and emotional support to families who
have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
This year our Club is celebrating it’s 120th year. Please look out for special events
and promotions here on our website, which is constantly being updated.
